This was another collab we did and are excited to share with everyone! The couples are Tadamu, Kutau, and RimaHiko. Chapter One: Relief from the Heat

One hot, sunny day, Amu lie in bed in a short, yellow sun dress.

It was still Spring for a few more weeks, but it sure felt like Summer was already there.

Whew! Amu thought to herself, It's so warm out today!

Ran, Miki, Su, and Dia sat in front of a small fan, trying to cool off.

RING! RING! RING!

Amu didn't move from her spot and grabbed her cellphone with one swift movement, "Hello?"

"AMU-CHI!" Yaya screamed through the phone, "What are you doing today?"

"Feeling like a hotdog...why?" Amu asked.

"Don't sound so depressed, Amu-chi!" Yaya encouraged, "The sooner you get ready, the sooner you can relax!"

"Alright, I'll try. See you in a little bit."

"Meet me at my house in an hour. I'll call the other guardians! Bye!" Yaya hung up.

"So, girls," Amu spoke to her charas, "You ready for some swimming?"

"How exciting, desu," Su said.

"YAY! I hope it's the beach!" Ran was excited.

"Wherever there's water, I'm happy," Amu sighed.

She grabbed her two-piece swimsuit from her closet. It was black with pink star buckles on the straps and pink stars on the ties around the hips.

"Ready?" she asked.

All her charas cheered in delight and they headed out the door.

In an hour's time everyone was in front of Yaya's house.

"We all set to go?" Nagi asked.

"Wait! We're still waiting for more to come!" Yaya explained.

"More?" Rima wondered, "Like who?"

"Yo!" a voice shouted a short distance away.

"Souma-kun?" Tadase recognized Kukai's voice.

"And also..." Amu had to do a double take when looking, "UTAU!?"

Utau scoffed, "What? I can't take a break from singing and stuff?" she mumbled.

Amu smiled, "No, I'm just surprised," she tried to explain herself, "It's really good to see you!"

"So, what'll it be?" Yaya questioned everyone, "The pool or beach?"

"Beach" Utau said.

"Yosh! The beach!" Kukai cheered.

"Okay! It's settled then! Let's start walking!" Yaya starting doing a 'march step', "ONWARD!"

"Let's go, dechu!" her chara, Pepe floated next to her.

It wasn't too long of a walk from Yaya's house, and they all set out their towels and umbrellas on the sand when they got there.

All the guardian charas began making a sand castle and Yaya jumped right in the water. Utau sat under an umbrella with her sunglasses on, sipping a beverage.

"C'mon, popstar! Get in the water!" Kukai shouted.

Utau scoffed at him, "I'll damage my hair.." she muttered.

After swimming on the ocean's surface to cool off, Amu sighed and pinched her nose, sinking deep into the water. Tadase did as well at the same time, without her knowledge.

Once their eyes met, Amu realized how close they were. Her grip on her nose wore off and she gasped. She couldn't breathe. She quickly swam up to the surface and began coughing.

Tadase came up for air, too, and asked, "Are you okay, Amu-chan?"

"Yes, I'm fine," Amu coughed again, "I guess I just need to be more careful."

Tadase patted Amu's back, "Did I surprise you?" he wondered, grazing his nails down her back.

Amu blushed and became flustered, "Oh, no, it's okay! You don't need to apologize!"

Tadase smiled and cupped her cheeks. Now Amu flushed deeper.

"T-Tadase..-kun..." she whispered.

"Ohoho~ Someone's in the mood!" Yaya broke the silence.

"Kya!" Amu cried out in shock. Both her and Tadase became flustered.  

Amu sunk into the water, hiding her flushing cheeks. Tadase gently patted her head.

Meanwhile, Rima stood on the seashore and dipped her toe in the water.

Nagihiko stood behind her, "Aren't you going to get in?" he wondered.

"It's cold," Rima said flatly.

Kusukusu flew over to her, "C'mon, Rima, it's fun!"

Rima slowly walked, and now stood in the water at her knees, "This is far enough."

Then, without warning, Yaya and Nagi both took turns splashing water in Rima's face.

Rima was about to get pretty upset until...

"KUKAI, LET ME GO!"

Kukai had picked up Utau and was walking toward the water.

"No way!" he replied to her, "You can't miss out on this!"

He gripped Utau tight. Once they were at the edge of the dock, Kukai tossed her in.

Splash!

"Grr....KUUUKAIII!" Utau roared, "My hair is destroyed, you little brat!" she shouted.

"Hey now...just who is being the brat here?" Kukai retorted back.

Utau spit out some water that was in her mouth and shrugged, but she was still upset.

Amu came up back out of the water and was laughing hysterically. But, as soon as Utau gave her a glare, she stopped.

After a few more  minutes, to take a break, they all sat on the beach to eat some snacks.

Yaya pigged out on some chips. Rima and Amu shared some cookies. Utau had brought a rice ball and Kukai gulped down a soda. Nagi and Tadase just ate some small sandwiches.

"So," Yaya talked in between bites, "Was this...a great idea...or what?

"Yeah," Amu said, smiling, Utau and Rima had the same look on their face.

"We need to do this more often," Nagi agreed, "Especially on hot days like this."

The day began to wind down. After they swam a little bit more they decided to go their separate ways.

Kukai walked with Utau and decided to hold her hand, with her blushing.

"OOOOOH! I sense love!!! And it's FOUR BARS!" Eru, Utau's angel character, shouted in excitement.

"Eru, shut up!" Utau snapped.

Iru giggled slyly.

Kukai couldn't help but smirk.

While Amu was about to leave herself, Tadase tapped her shoulder.

"Is it okay if I accompany you?"

"Y-you don't need to walk me home, Tadase-kun," she protested.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yeah," Amu continued, "I...wouldn't want to inconvenience you."

"It's okay. It would be no problem," he grinned.

Amu blushed softly, she pushed her hair behind her ear and smiled cutely. Tadase blushed and smiled as well.

"I love you..." he whispered.

Amu began to stutter from embarrassment, "Th-Thank you...Tadase-kun."

Tadase smiled and pulled her closer, thinking she was cold. It had now faded to nighttime, so the warm air was no longer there. He then hugged her tight. Heat rushed to Amu's face because of his actions.

"Ne, Amu-chan...you don't...mind if I hug you...right?"

"No, it's...fine..."

Tadase smiled, "Amu-chan..." he said softly.

Amu's heart raced, she pulled back slightly.

Tadase knew what she wanted. The innocent expression on her face made it obvious...she even began to hug him back when she looked up at him. He smiled warmly and closed his eyes as he leaned in. Their hearts began to thump loudly as their faces came closer.

Tadase lifted her chin, and their lips met, softly and slowly, Amu screamed inwardly in delight.

It was a simple kiss, only lasting a few seconds...but to them, as they became lost in the moment, it seemed like an eternity.

Amu, needing a breath, slowly pulled away and gazed up at Tadase.

Tadase smiled and brushed away her bangs, "I love you" He whispered.

"Tadase-kun, I...I'm sorry..." Amu began.

"Sorry? For what?"

"It's just...I'm not..." she stumbled with her words a little, "I'm not the best with being open with my feelings, and...I wish I could be, so I'm so sorry I haven't said this sooner, but...now I'm going to try..."

She gulped and got some courage to grasp his hand and intertwine her fingers in his, and then...

"I..." Amu spoke softly, "I love you, too...Tadase-kun."

Tadase got flustered. Amu did as well.

"A-Amu-chan...Thank you.." Tadase whispered.

"You...you're welcome," she replied, "Again, I'm...sorry I never said it sooner...I wanted to but...I guess I was just too nervous to."

Tadase kissed her cheek, "It's okay...I understand."

Amu smiled softly.

"C'mon, it's getting dark" Tadase said.

They both smiled as they began walking to Amu's house, hand in hand.

After walking away from the beach for some time, Utau muttered under her breath, "You...can let go of my hand now."

"Huh?" Kukai responded.

"I mean...it was nice of you but...doesn't that me that we are-"

"Dating?" Kukai finished, smirking.

"Well, yeah...cuz I don't want people getting the wrong idea or anything, and-"

"But...aren't we?" Kukai smiled at her.

Utau could feel her face get warm as she began to blush from him looking at her, "I guess...maybe..."

Kukai smiled, gripping her hand harder.

"So, you agree?" he continued.

"Sure...it's f-fine j-just as long as..." Utau stuttered, "...as long as we don't talk about it too much with others...you know?"

"That's okay with me...if you don't want to rush things."

Utau smiled curtly, "I'm glad we have an agreement..."

Kukai smiled.

"There's my house," Utau said.

"Alright then," Kukai sighed, "That was fast."

"Well...see you...around..." Utau began to walk off.

"Hey, wait!" Kukai exclaimed.

Utau quickly turned, "What?!" she snapped.

"Well, do you...want to go out for ramen sometime tomorrow? There a new place that just opened up near my house."

"Oh! Um...I...would like that.." Utau said while smiling.

"Great!" Kukai gave her a thumbs up.
